My name is Lara, and LARAMA was born from a question I couldn't stop asking:
Why are the most beautiful patterns in Serbian culture worn only in museums?

I grew up surrounded by the geometry of folk embroidery — the rhythmic repetition of stars, crosses, and diamond grids that you find on kilims, on aprons, on the walls of old churches. These patterns have been passed down for centuries. They are bold, graphic, and utterly modern. So I put them on silk.

Each LARAMA scarf begins as a drawing — an interpretation of a traditional Serbian motif, redrawn by hand and brought into the present. The result is something that feels both ancient and immediate. A piece you can wear anywhere in the world and that carries a place with it.
